I've just picket up a 500bar ball valve to add to the filling whip on my compressor. It's new, from an industrial pipe/ pressure system supplier.
Given that it's on the clean side of the filter, should I be cleaning it with anything before fitting it?
Was thinking about rinsing it with some alcohol to remove any grease residue.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Hi Pete
i would clean it in Biox. you can either leave it soaking in the stuff overnight or drop it in an ultrasonic bath for a few minutes. do not dilute the Biox. allendale ultrasonics sell it in small quantities.
