I'm staying at the South Wales hut 13th-17th of March and hoping to try do a dive if possible (although the weather forecasts are looking a little grim). Not a QD and will trying to build my experience so looking to see if anyone in the area would be happy to accompany me and recommend/join me on an appropriate dive.

Happy to reward with beer/cake or anything else that I can source within the next week.

Can also provide some caver post between Yorkshire/South Wales of anyone needs anything moving.

Want me to tell Andrew your email address Ian, to save you posting it on a fully public board? If so, email me directly.

@andrew-ward

Hi Andrew, not had an email come through from you. Don't want to sound pushy, but I'll need to pack the car tomorrow night and space is at a premium so don't want to bring unnecessary gear with me if I don't need it.

Cheers, Ian

I think Andrew is in France at the minute...

If you are staying at SWCC, Gothic Sump in OFD is probably not a bad site. The start of it is off the main flow route, so might be better viz than elsewhere if the weather has been crap. It's also very easy to get to, being only about 50m from the entrance.

I had a very nice dive there on New Year's Eve on a pair of 5's.
