This sounds potentially nasty - best to be aware of (& maybe even worth keeping a tick remover in the car anyway, as I'm told Lyme's disease is a real drag). Note one area possibly affected is the "Yorkshire moors".

Seem to be more ticks about this year than the last few, we have removed a number from Ralf (Labrador) since late spring.
