Chris Fox has masterminded the production of a new journal about the caves of Nidderdale, with information all in one source. The CDG's Ian Lloyd has made a big contribution to this, detailing all the history of cave diving in the dale. It costs £8 (+ £3-50 P&P if needed). More details here:

The above link gives information about a launch event this Saturday evening (29th March) in Middlesmoor, where copies can be obtained. It may be that some can be got to Inglesport for sale. If you'd like one by post (or via "caver post"?) then perhaps it's best to contact "Goydenman" via the above link but maybe better to wait until after the coming weekend as I suspect he'll be busy. There are plenty of copies so it's unlikely they'll run out.
The cost of printing has been underwritten by the estate of the late Barry Andrew, a caver who lived in Settle. All income from sales of the journal will be equally divided between CRO and UWFRA, so as well as getting a cracking journal you'll also be directly supporting cave rescue. Enjoy!
