The Group is deeply saddened to confirm that Geoff Yeadon, President of the Cave Diving Group, passed away suddenly on Sunday 29th April 2026 at the age of 75 from natural causes.
Our heartfelt thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time. He led a truly remarkable life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Further details regarding a celebration of his life will be shared in due course.
Just to keep the record right, Geoff Yeadon's date of passing was Sunday 29th March 2026.
His funeral followed on Thursday 23rd April in a packed St. Mary's Church at Kirkby Lonsdale. Many CDG members were among the congregation, to pay respects to our friend and late President.
