For some reason the Visbot is not working at the minute, so I've taken it offline. I'll try and fix it as soon as I can.
I still have access to the data in the back end, so if anybody wants to know what the conditions are send me an email at ben.t.wright@gmail.com
Thanks Ben, as ever, for your attention to this.
In case it helps to know, the site let me upload this morning's reading (zero mm).
There may be some more interesting data to add soon, if the sky starts going flash / bang tomorrow as predicted.
Right, I think I've fixed it.
Google had changed the way that programs interact with Google Sheets, so the website no longer had access to the data in the backend. I had to patch the table plugin by hand that we're using to show the visbot. Pain in the arse.
If anybody spots an issues please email me (ben.t.wright@gmail.com) and I'll take a look.

Thanks Ben. I don't understand that but thank anyway for fixing it!
Been very wet overnight at Clapham (Saturday into Sunday morning).
Um - I posted this morning's reading (Sunday 28th, 33 mm I'm afraid) about an hour ago and it's not showing yet. No-one else's appear to be there either. Problem?
Hi Ben,
Thanks for your efforts. I will continue to send in reports in the hope that they will turn up on VisBot eventually.
Wookey still low and crystal, (poteen), clear .
Cheers, Rob
Keep 'em coming Rob - and everyone else. I'm sure our Ben will mastermind a way out of any temporary glitch.
Wish you'd not made your "poteen" comment though; it's anything but that in the Dales now; https://webcam.io/webcams/zKaEg9
Ill take a look tonight!

Thanks Ben; just in case my reading doesn't get through this morning (Monday 29th June, at 07-00) it's 41 mm. Not really cave diving weather at the moment.
I think everything is now fixed - more issues with Google changing the way their APIs work.
No need to submit the old data, I've manually imported it. Hopefully things will now work fine the next time people import data.

Hi Pete - they are opening up on 4th July. However the value of the VisBot, (IMHO - or at least IMO), is establishing what correlation if any there is between rainfall and vis.
Cheers, Rob
You win Fiona.
Attached is a picture of the Ribble today (Monday) powering under the road bridge at Settle, with some big standing waves. 2 days ago it was just a thin ribbon of water trickling between the cobbles.
